What You Need To Know About Visiting Baja

Stretching 1,600km south from the American border, Baja California is a land of contrasts from craggy mountains to sandy beaches, cactus-dotted deserts to pristine golf courses, and sleepy villages and bustling tourist resorts. Most visitors head straight to Baja Sur and the Los Cabos Corridor, the 33km stretch which runs between the towns of San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas at the tip of the peninsula. With its stunning beaches and luxury resorts, this stretch of coastline was the former playing ground of the Hollywood and Miami elite, and is once again a hot holiday destination – great for big game fishing, playing golf and whale-watching.
